An Eastern Wisconsin representative is explaining what the two Wisconsin Constitutional Amendments on this April’s General Election ballot mean.
Assemblyman Paul Tittl of Manitowoc says the first one would ban private election grants for elections in the state.
Tittl specifically mentioned money donated by the Center for Tech and Civil Life, including a one-time donation for Meta CEO Mark Zuckerburg, which they call “Zuckerbucks.”
The second would only allow election officials to run state elections. He says he will vote for both amendments.
However, some groups like the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin say they are opposed because they would make it harder for voters to vote and limit support for county clerks to run elections.
The General Election is Tuesday, April 2nd. Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
