One person running for Manitowoc Public School Board is backing two candidates with similar viewpoints.
Basil Buchko tells Seehafer News that his supporters should feel free to vote for Keith Shaw or Kerry Trask because a leadership change is necessary on the board.
In a video from the Manitowoc County Democrats, Basil says while he believes he could still bring leadership to the board, he trusts Trask and Shaw to move the district forward.
“I ask all of my supporters to feel free to vote for Kerry and Keith in the general election so we can get the change that we absolutely need,” he said in the video.
While Trask is trying to retain his seat, Keith and Basil have been running to unseat current Board Member and President Stacey Soeldner.
She’s running for reelection after first being elected in 2021.
