Thursday was a great day for a local representative in Madison.
25th Assembly District Representative Paul Tittl had three of his bills signed into law, two of which are related to hunting regulations.
One that he has mentioned several times with Seehafer News is his Air Gun Bill.
This legislation, now a law in Wisconsin, allows hunters to use air guns to hunt large animals, which Tittl says will “encourage more youth, seniors and disabled people to take up hunting with a firearm.”
Rep. Tittl’s bill redefining what a muzzle-loader is was also signed into law.
This allows new rifles to meet the requirement to be classified as a muzzle-loader.
The final bill signed by Governor Tony Evers allows potential adoptive parents to receive adoptive parent education online rather than in person.
The entirety of the training cannot be done online, however, as six of the 26 hours of training must be done in person.
Manitowoc’s representative in Madison says that the change will allow more people to become adoptive parents as it will make it easier to schedule the training.
