A pedestrian in Oshkosh was hospitalized yesterday (March 13th) after they were struck by a vehicle backing out of a driveway.
According to the Oshkosh Police Department, an 89-year-old individual was walking on the sidewalk in the 300 block of North Westhaven Dive at around 1:35 p.m. when he was struck.
The driver of the vehicle was a 78-year-old woman who was backing out of a driveway at the time.
She is said to be cooperating with police during the investigation, which is still ongoing.
No names were provided, and the extent of the injuries suffered by the pedestrian was not revealed.
