It’s the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.
The 2024 WIAA Boys State Basketball Tournament begins today.
Kicking off the weekend of action at the Kohl Center in Madison will be the Division 3 matchups.
Top-seeded St. Thomas More will square off with #4 Prescott at 1:35 p.m., after which the unbeaten Kiel Raiders will take on Lakeside Lutheran.
Coverage of that game will be held on 97.1 FM WCUB and at CubRadio.com starting at 3:00 p.m.
Day 1 will conclude with the Division 4 games, as Marathon battles Kenosha St. Joseph, followed by Mineral Point vs. Aquinas.
Friday’s action kicks off with Division 5 at 9:05 a.m. Columbus Catholic will take on Salon Springs, after which Almond-Bancroft will face Abundant Life.
Then it moves to Division 1, where Arrowhead is matched with Neenah, and Kettle Moraine is set to face Marquette.
And in Division 2, Wisconsin Lutheran is set to take on Nicolet, and Pewaukee is taking on West Salem.
All championship games will be played on Saturday, starting with Division 5 and ending with Division 1.
