Wisconsin’s Supreme Court has reopened deliberations on the legality of ballot drop boxes.
The liberal-leaning court recently agreed to review a case challenging the state’s prohibition on drop boxes outside of election clerk offices.
Previously, a conservative-dominated court upheld the ban, contending that state law does not permit drop boxes elsewhere.
However, critics argue that the law doesn’t explicitly forbid their use.
The court is scheduled to hear arguments on the matter in May.
