Firefighters in Cadott are attributing a fire that consumed approximately 40 acres yesterday to children and fireworks.
There were no injuries, and no buildings were engulfed in flames, however, the fire did devastate two cornfields and adjacent woods.
According to fire crews, the blaze ignited while children were playing with fireworks.
It remains uncertain whether anyone will face charges in connection with the incident.
