Bellin Hospital is being recognized for its dedication to patient services.
Healthgrades awarded the hospital the 2024 Safety Excellence Award and Outstanding Patient Experience Award.
The achievements reflect Bellin’s dedication to providing a safe, high-quality care experience for all patients and placing the organization among an elite group of only 79 hospitals nationwide.
The hospital is also the only one in Green Bay to have given both awards. Region President Chris Woleske says the “awards reflect the hard work and commitment of our entire team, from our leaders to our frontline staff, in ensuring every patient receives exceptional care.”
Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted complication and mortality rates for 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine which will get awards.
Patients who seek care at hospitals receiving the 2024 Patient Safety Excellence Award have a significantly lower risk of experiencing one of four leading patient safety indicators than patients treated at non-recipient hospitals, such as falling, collapsed lungs due to surgery, bed sores, and some infections.
