The date for an Appleton woman’s arraignment in a toddler’s overdose death has been set.
According to NBC26, 28-year-old Brooke Seal was in Outagamie County Court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing, where the judge heard details of the investigation.
A 2-year-old child was found dead in her home in January with what experts say was enough fentanyl in her system to kill an adult.
Investigators also noted that there were an estimated 1,400 fentanyl pills near where the child was found, along with a gun that was said to have been stolen.
Seal will next be in court for her arraignment on March 26th as she faces charges of Neglecting a Child Resulting in Death, Possession of an Illegal Article, and Possession of Narcotic Drugs.
