Authorities in Eau Claire report that a local man unintentionally shot himself outside a downtown bar during the early hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred when the individual was exhibiting his new firearm and accidentally discharged it, resulting in a non-life-threatening injury to his arm.
The man is expected to recover from the mishap.
