
The man accused of killing two women in 2023 has been convicted.
According to WBAY, a jury found 49-year-old Richard Sotka guilty on all eight counts he was facing after only an hour of deliberation.
In total, Sotka was found guilty on two counts of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, one of which had a Domestic Abuse modifier, one count of Criminal Damage to Property, two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and three counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
The victims, 58-year-old Rhonda Cegelski and 53-year-old Paula O’Connor, were found inside a duplex on Elkay Lane in Green Bay in January 2023, and Sotka was quickly arrested.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 20th, where he will automatically be sentenced to life in prison.
