A man was arrested on several charges after a report from a young person said the man touched her inappropriately.
The victim, in an interview at the Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center in Saukville, said that the man touched their butt in the basement of his Manitowoc home back in December of 2022.
They would continue to tell other stories about the 61-year-old suspect, including that he was a hugger, and he would give hugs not putting both arms fully around them but hugging with one arm around the shoulder and another somewhat around the waist or back.
Then the victim said the man had photos and videos of the person bending over while they were wearing a skirt, and he would want to play a game called “Touch or Die.”
Another story included the man allegedly showing the victim a naked photo of a man and wanting to take them to a store to get a toy.
In February of this year, police were called to the man’s home because he was allegedly in possession of a tablet that could have child sex abuse material on it.
Police said they did find that type of material including over 200 images and videos.
The man has been charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography, 2 counts of 4th-degree sexual assault of a child, and exposing a child to harmful material.
