The quest to locate three-year-old Elijah Vue extended into Green Bay this past weekend.
Dedicated volunteers scoured various locations in the city in their relentless search for the young boy, who had been absent for nearly three weeks.
Their efforts took them to prominent spots such as the Baird Creek Greenway, Christa McAuliffe Park, and Danz Park.
However, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Police urged volunteers to refrain from entering the campus.
Elijah Vue mysteriously disappeared on February 20th, as recounted by his mother’s boyfriend, who claimed he put Elijah to bed, and when he woke up, Elijah was gone.
That man is 39-year-old Jesse Vang, who’s facing child neglect charges.
Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, is now facing chronic neglect charges.
