A man is getting prison time for lighting several fires in areas of Fond du Lac and Washington Counties.
According to Fox 11, 40-year-old Daniel Enright will serve three years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of intentionally setting fire to someone else’s land and two counts of arson of property other than to a building.
Three other charges of intentionally setting fire to another’s land were dismissed but read into the record.
Fond du Lac County Judge Anthony Nehls also sentenced Enright to three years of extended supervision and two years of probation.
Enright will also have to pay back about $1,097 to the Northern Kettle Moraine Unit.
The fires were lit in marshy and grassy areas, and prosecutors said he did it because of the stress of the birth of his child.
