The Kohler Center for the Arts has announced its new director of development.
Nancy Allison started her new job back on February 5th. Allison oversees fundraising programs and operations for the Arts Center and manages portfolios of major gift donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
A press release from the arts center says Nancy brings a distinctive and refreshing mix of experience and expertise, and the entire team eagerly anticipates tapping into her knowledge of the arts and development along with her leadership prowess to enhance the organization’s fundraising initiatives.
She’d previously worked as the senior donor services officer at the Pittsburgh Foundation, where she served as a philanthropic advisor to profitable donors, corporations, and organizations.
She was able to secure a significant gift as part of a $32 million fundraising campaign at the Penland School of Craft in Penland, North Carolina.
