School officials in Appleton have adopted a new measure to ensure students attend their classes.
The Appleton School District has announced that police officers will issue no-trespassing tickets to students who skip classes.
The tickets will remain open for 30 days, and students will not face any consequences if they attend their classes.
However, if they fail to do so, they will be charged a fine of $200. While the school district considers this measure as a last resort,
Assistant Superintendent Mike Hernandez has affirmed that it is an option that will be employed to ensure that students attend their classes.
