Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has signed a new bill into law, which will offer more tax relief to Wisconsin taxpayers who pay for childcare.
The law expands child and dependent federal tax credits, doubling them from fifty to 100 percent.
Over 110,000 Wisconsinites will benefit from this change, with an average credit of $656 per filer.
This results in a total of almost $73 million statewide.
