An Illinois resident faces charges of Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) in Eau Claire County after being apprehended with five minors in his vehicle.
Authorities arrested 34-year-old Daniel O’Connell along I-94 yesterday afternoon, where he was found to be impaired.
O’Connell was transporting twin nine-month-olds, a 14-year-old, and two 15-year-olds.
Following signs of impairment and a failed sobriety test, he underwent a blood test at the hospital before being taken into custody.
