
The resignation of Green Bay Area School District Superintendent Claude Tiller is going to cost the district.
According to NBC26, the former superintendent is slated to receive $250,000 from the district following his resignation, which would be paid out in a lump sum.
The agreement includes ten months of pay, cash for his benefits, retirement compensation, and legal fees.
The Green Bay community has voiced support for Tiller, with over 1,100 people signing a petition to reinstate him.
Tiller thanked the community for their support and said it is an option he is open to.
