UW-Eau Claire has moved to dismiss a racial discrimination lawsuit brought against them by Rochelle Hoffman, a former interim director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services.
Hoffman alleges she was transferred from her position due to her race.
Still, the university refutes these claims, stating her reassignment was unrelated to her race and that she was only stripped of her classes because of her change in roles.
The university denies accusations of fostering a racially hostile work environment.
