The Manitowoc Youth Hockey Association is looking to support those battling cancer this weekend.
The Purple Penalty Box fundraiser will feature two games between the Manitowoc Breakers Peewee B team, the Oshkosh Warbirds, and two Peewee C games against the Fox River Freeze of Appleton.
The games will begin at 10:15 a.m. free of charge at the Manitowoc County Ice Center.
Both Breakers teams will sport special purple jerseys in honor of all cancer survivors, caregivers, families, and friends of all who have battled the disease.
This is the second year of the fundraiser, which will also feature a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, raffle baskets, a bake sale, and soup donated by Roadside Cucina and Farmers Home Restaurant.
The full schedule of games can be found on the Manitowoc Youth Hockey website.
