Several people attended yesterday’s (February 26th) court hearing for the two adults charged regarding Elijah Vue’s disappearance, including three women who are part of one of the groups searching for him.
In court, they wore bright blue shirts that said, “Missing, please help find Elijah Vue”, with his picture on it.
Yolonda Godfrey, who’s one of the searchers, tells Seehafer News, “I will wear it at every court hearing that I can be at. I will wear this shirt until Elijah comes home.”
Godfrey said she came to the hearing in support the family while also wanting to hear what’s going on in court instead of just getting information online.
She says she hopes that Elijah can be brought home with his family.
She says there’s been a lot of searching happening.
“I can’t even begin to tell you how many places we’ve searched on the outer skirts of Two Rivers,” she explained. “Just everywhere. And we’ll do what we have to do and go where we have to go.”
Elijah’s family members also asked Judge Robert Dewane yesterday not to reduce bail for 31-year-old Katrina Baur, who’s been charged with child neglect as a party to a crime and two counts of obstructing an officer, and 39-year-old Jesse Vang, who’s been charged with child neglect.
They’ll be back in court next month.
