A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after she allegedly spam-called the FBI.
According to the Manitowoc Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of Phillippen Street on Saturday (February 24th) to conduct a welfare check on a woman who had called the FBI tip line over 150 times that day.
The 37-year-old woman called the FBI tip line so many times they had to block her number.
When the officers arrived, the woman exited the residence and began yelling at them along with a neighbor, claiming he had killed her father.
While being questioned, the woman reportedly told police she “had a vision” of her neighbor “killing her father by punching him in the ribs.”
It was later learned that her father had died a few months prior.
When confronted about the phone calls, the woman said she was going to continue calling the FBI and retreated back into her home.
The woman was arrested without further incident, however two Vyvanse pills were found on her person, which is a Schedule II drug.
The woman was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Possession of an Other Schedule Drug.
