The location of the 2024 Manitowoc County Breakfast on the Farm has been announced.
Seehafer News spoke with Becky Salm, the Chair of the Dairy Breakfast and member of the Dairy Promotion Committee, who revealed Libertyland Farms in Newton.
“It’s going to be Sunday, June 9th, from 8:00 a.m. until noon,” she explained. “We will be serving our fantastic ham and cheese omelet along with all the fixings. And the grilled cheese sandwiches, that were so popular last year, will be back again this year.”
On top of the usual farm tours and the food, there will be plenty of kids activities and a look into the future of farming.
“Libertyland milks with robots,” Salm explained. “That is a unique feature since we do not have a lot of robot farms in Manitowoc County. If you ever wanted to see a cow milked by a robot, now is your chance.”
