The Roncalli girls basketball team saw their season come to an end last night at the hands of Algoma.
The Jets were on the road for the Regional Quarterfinal matchup, where the Wolves won 59-39.
It was a close matchup most of the way through the first half, but with Algoma up 20-14, the Wolves went on a 13-4 run, and they cruised to the 20-point win.
Algoma was led by their senior leader, Riley Zimmerman, who set a new career and season personal best with 31 points.
The Jets were led by Lauren Stangel’s 16 points, while Grace Pribyl added 10.
Roncalli ends the season with a 7-17 record, while Algoma moves on to face Manitowoc Lutheran at Lancer Circle this Friday (February 23rd).
