There was an upset last night in boys high school basketball.
Chilton hosted Reedsville while on a five-game losing streak, but the Tigers pulled off the upset, taking down the Panthers 75-66.
It was a close matchup at the break, with Chilton holding a 33-31 lead, but in the second half, the Tigers went off with 42 points while holding the Panthers to 35 to secure the 9-point win.
Bennet Woelfel let the Tigers with 26 points, while Zach Halbach also had a great night, netting 24 points, and Ryan Pierquet added 16.
Reedsville’s Arden Strenn led the Panthers with 23 points, while Parker Maey netted 15 and Ben Prochnow added 12.
The loss drops the Panthers to 15-8, and they are back in action this Thursday at Oostburg High School.
The Tigers improve to 9-14, and they will be hosting Two Rivers this Thursday.
