
The Manitowoc County Historical Society is inviting everyone out to create their own winter attire this week.
On Thursday (February 22nd), from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Pinecrest Historical Village, guests can immerse in the craft of the 1890s by creating their own unique pair of mittens.
This workshop will guide guests through the traditional techniques of hand sewing and needlework to assemble a historically inspired pair of mittens with a modern twist, utilizing reproduced wool fabrics.
Participants should arrive at the McAllister House Welcome Center by 2:45 p.m. for the event.
Space is limited, catering to individuals from 16 years of age and up.
Preregistration is mandatory and can be done at ManitowocCountyHistory.org.
There is a fee of $75 for non-members, while members get a 15% discount.
