The death of Ashley Ann Calo in Fond du Lac is being labeled as a homicide.
According to NBC26, investigators arrested Annika Winter Trudell on a charge of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide as well as a yet unidentified 21-year-old man on a charge of Harboring or Aiding a Felon.
Very few details about what actually happened have been released, other than Calo was found slumped behind the wheel of her car following g a crash into a planter in the area of West Follet and North Main Streets Tuesday evening (February 13th).
A 3-year-old child was uninjured in the accident. An autopsy has been ordered through the Fon du Lac Medical Examiner’s Office, but it is not clear when that will be happening.
