The company highlights the risk of power outages caused by mylar balloons coming into contact with power lines, citing over 100,000 power interruptions since 2020.
While acknowledging the celebratory nature of Valentine’s Day, We Energies advises securing mylar balloons to prevent them from floating into power lines.
