The Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team lost at home last night to West De Pere 76-67 in overtime.
Lincoln held a 26-22 lead entering the break, but the Phantoms mounted a comeback, tallying 43 points in the second half to force the extra frame.
Shots just weren’t dropping for Lincoln in OT as they were outscored 11-2 and suffered the nine-point loss.
Laurin Hamann led the way for the Ships, netting 19 points, including three of her team’s five three-pointers, while Grace Fruzen scored 12, and Taylor Peterson added 11.
Ava VanEss of West De Pere led all scorers with 21 points as the Phantoms improved to 18-5 on the season.
Lincoln falls to 12-11 overall and 9-8 in the FRCC.
The Ships will be playing their final regular season game this Thursday as they host Sheboygan South at the JFK Fieldhouse.
