For the first time in eight weeks, most of the counties in Eastern Wisconsin reported gas prices above $3.00.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel rose 22 cents since this time last week, with the average now sitting at $3.03, the highest amount since the third week of November.
Sheboygan County reported a jump of 26 cents to an average of $3.01, while Calumet County saw the biggest leap, going up 38 cents to $3.13 per gallon.
Outagamie County reported a 28-cent increase to $2.98, while Brown County motorists are paying 22 cents more at the pump with an average of $3.03.
Kewaunee County saw a 20-cent bump to $3.01, while Door County fuel is only 10 cents more expensive than last week, coming in at $2.98 per gallon.
The state average jumped 24 cents to $3.05, while the national average only rose eight cents to $3.22.
