Carrie Thompson of Monroe, who was previously convicted in a series of cemetery thefts, found herself back in custody after failing to appear for her mandated 60-day jail sentence.
Following her no-show on January 27th, a warrant was issued for Thompson’s arrest, leading to her apprehension yesterday.
In addition to her convictions for stealing sentimental items from gravesites, Thompson now faces a felony charge for her failure to comply with the court’s sentence.
She has been assigned 720 hours of community service alongside her jail term.
