A Racine County deputy finds himself in legal trouble and potentially facing imprisonment following his arrest on charges related to child pornography.
Preston Kite, 36, was apprehended by investigators over the weekend.
He faces allegations including child sexual exploitation, possession of child pornography, and lewd conduct.
Kite came under scrutiny after a man reported an encounter wherein Kite, dressed in uniform, allegedly propositioned him at a truck stop restroom.
Both the Racine County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office confirm that the investigation into Kite’s activities is ongoing.
