
There are five Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (February 7th), all of which involve the Expo-Ice Center Board.
The Finance Subcommittee will start the evening off at 5:00 p.m. in the Expo Office, where they will discuss the 2024 fair budget and season passes for retired board members.
The Marketing and Advertising Subcommittee is up next.
They will discuss the advertising budget for the fair before getting updates on the Fairest of the Fair, social media marketing, and the planned Woman’s Day event.
The Entertainment and Vendor Subcommittee will approve several contracts for the fair and will get updates on the grandstand, the outdoor layout, and several other contests and events.
The Operations Subcommittee is slated to discuss the Special Olympics date and route before looking over other operations-based issues.
The full board will then gather at 7:00 p.m., where they will discuss all of the previously mentioned items and other topics related to the 2024 Manitowoc County Fair.
The public will be given a chance to comment at each of these meetings.
