A Glendale man has been handed a life sentence for the murder of his mother in 2021, driven by motives related to inheritance.
Aric Way was convicted in December on charges of first-degree intentional homicide as an accomplice.
He will serve life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision.
Way, along with Philip Schmidt-Way, was charged in connection to the death of Way’s mother, who was found deceased in her Dodgeville residence in 2022.
An autopsy revealed that carbon monoxide poisoning contributed to her demise.
