Mississippi’s State Auditor, Shad White, has demanded nearly $800,000 from former NFL quarterback Brett Favre in connection to his welfare fraud case.
Despite repaying the over $1 million he received from the Mississippi Department of Human Services in 2020, Favre still owes $730,000 in fines and interest for funds received for speeches he never delivered.
While Favre has not admitted guilt and faced no charges, the auditor is now suing him to recover the outstanding amount.
