After ending 2023 with nearly four months of steady declines, Eastern Wisconsin gas prices have risen for the third time in four weeks.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County motorists are paying nine cents more per gallon of fuel this week than they were last week, with an average of $2.81.
Sheboygan and Calumet Counties each reported four-cent increases to $2.75, while Outagamie County also saw a nine-cent jump to $2.70.
Brown County saw the biggest change, jumping twelve cents to $2.81, while Kewaunee County’s average price rose seven cents to also sit at $2.81.
Door County, where fuel is usually the most expensive in our area, reports the third least expensive average, following a three-cent bump to $2.78.
The state average also rose, coming in six cents higher than last week at $2.81, while the national average swelled two cents to $3.14.
