It was a big weekend for the Manitowoc County Youth Hockey Association, as two teams qualified for the state tournament.
The 14U Bantams and 12U Peewee B teams both won their playdown matchups to secure their spots in the state tournaments.
The Peewee B game was an exhilarating matchup, as the Breakers were down 4-0, but came back to force overtime.
Then, while shorthanded, Oliver S. got possession in the neutral zone, weaved his way through two defenders, juked a third, and rocketed home a goal to give the Breakers the 8-7 win.
