The Larrabee Sportsman’s Club in Mishicot was all set to begin its annual ice fishing derby this weekend.
However, with the warm string of temperatures as of late, the ice has thinned on Harpt Lake to dangerous levels, so there will be no fishing this weekend.
That being said, the Derby will still go on, with activities continuing at the Club starting this evening.
The Club, located at 16306 Harpt Lake Road in Mishicot, will open at 4:00 and will reopen Friday at 9:00 a.m.
They will still serve their Fabulous Fish Fry starting at 4:00 Friday evening and will have breakfast at 6:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Lunch will also be served starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday night will also feature entertainment by Kickin it Karaoke, with meat raffles planned for the entire weekend.
