Five individuals are now facing charges in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident in Rice Lake.
Prosecutors initiated legal proceedings this week, alleging that Tyler Baker operated his motorcycle under the influence when the crash occurred in August.
Among the charges, four others are accused of either providing false information to authorities or leaving the crash scene.
The District Attorney asserts that Baker, the alleged drunk driver, failed to assist the victim who ultimately succumbed to the injuries.
If convicted, Baker could face up to 25 years in prison.
