A Manitowoc native is getting praise for his work on and off the football field at Concordia University.
Evan Lishcka, a 2019 graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School, was named to the 2023 CSC Football Academic All-American Second Team.
During his senior year, he contributed 34 tackles for the Falcons, along with 5 interceptions and 10 passes defended over eight games.
Lischka is the first Concordia Wisconsin football player to be named a CSC Academic All-American, as he also earned a 3.77 cumulative grade point average.
