A crash in Oostburg over the weekend resulted in a car slamming into a building.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in the 900 block of Center Avenue at around 5:30 Saturday evening.
A 58-year-old man was reportedly driving his truck west on Center Avenue when it tried to pass another vehicle but sideswiped a vehicle traveling east.
The Cedar Grove man lost control and slammed into a commercial business on the south side of the street.
He was said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while a 39-year-old Oostburg woman driving the vehicle that was sideswiped was uninjured.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has stated that speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the incident.
