In Milwaukee, new details have emerged regarding the recent case of a woman, Jolene Waldref, who tragically succumbed to the cold.
According to the medical examiner’s office, the 49-year-old likely spent an hour and a half in a snowbank before assistance reached her.
Waldref, who appears to have died from hypothermia after falling while waiting for a bus, had reportedly called 911, but the calls did not go through.
