A 71-year-old woman lost her life in a house fire in Kenosha.
Firefighters discovered the victim after successfully extinguishing the flames at her residence on the city’s near-north side.
The woman’s husband and a neighbor sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire.
