Formal charges have been filed against suspended Milwaukee police officer Frank Williams in connection with a child abuse case.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney filed charges of strangulation and physical abuse after Williams’s arrest last week.
The allegations involve the beating and choking of a seven-year-old child.
Although Williams is accused of hitting another child with his belt, no charges have been filed in that regard.
The Milwaukee Police Department placed Williams on full suspension following his arrest.
