
The Valders girls basketball team went into Two Rivers last night and dominated the Raiders.
The Vikings outscored the home squad 85-29 thanks in part to a 30-3 run in the second half.
Valders was led by Claire Zipperer, who went 9 of 11 from the floor to score 23 points, while Megan Hochammer added 16 points and 9 assists. Zoey Siders contributed 14, while Addison Grall tallied 11.
Two Rivers’ Kaylee Jensen led her squad with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Valders, which is on a six-game win streak, will enter the final stretch of the season 7-0 in the EWC and 13-3 overall, while Two Rivers still seeks their first win in 14 tries.
The Vikings will host Sheboygan Falls next Tuesday (January 23rd), while Two Rivers is at Green Bay East tonight to face a Red Devils squad with only two wins this year.
