Authorities are addressing concerns following the discovery of a firearm at a school in western Wisconsin.
The local police found the unloaded weapon yesterday at Spring Valley’s combined middle and high school.
While the firearm was unloaded, ammunition was found in close proximity.
It remains unclear whether the firearm belonged to a student or a staff member.
Police ensured there was no longer a threat after securing the weapon, and no students or teachers were harmed.
