Milwaukee County’s medical examiner attributes three deaths over the weekend to the cold weather.
The victims, located at South 5th Street and West Layton, North 35th and West Hadley, and near West Woolworth Avenue and North Sherman, succumbed to temperatures that dropped into the single digits or lower.
At least one of the deceased was homeless, and the M.E.’s office believes all three men died from hypothermia.
