
The Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team went into Appleton West’s gymnasium and dominated the Terrors 71-32.
The Ships started hot, putting up 41 points in the first half, led by Brianna Breese’s 11 points while holding West to only 19.
Breese cooled off in the second half, but her teammates stepped up, adding another 30 points and cruising to the 39-point win.
Breese ended the night with 13 points, while Taylor Peterson led the ships with 15, and Sarah Bolchen contributed 11.
A total of nine Ships contributed points as they improved to 6-7 on the year.
The Manitowoc Lincoln girls, who are 3-1 over their last four games, are right back at it tonight as they host Bay Port at the JFK Fieldhouse.
The Pirates have struggled this year, coming into tonight’s contest at 1-11.
