A Chippewa Falls woman, Kacy Bresina, convicted of stealing from two local charities, will not face jail time.
Bresina entered a no-contest plea last week for charges related to not remitting funds collected during two fundraisers to the charities.
Prosecutors asserted she embezzled approximately six thousand dollars.
The judge also imposed a fine of $473, citing Bresina’s full repayment of the stolen money.
